What is Order fulfilment?

Order fulfilment is the process of receiving and storing inventory to be sold online to consumers or B2B clients, after which orders are processed and delivered to each customer.

The process starts when a customer places an order and concludes once they receive their delivery by post or courier.

Here’s an overview of the five steps involved in order fulfilment:

  1. Receiving inbound inventory – You send your stock to our fulfilment warehouse

How does the light assembly / kitting process work?

Many of our clients sell hampers, subscription boxes and gift sets online. As such we pre-assemble a selection of simple SKUs, creating a new complex SKU, on a regular basis.

How does the Pick and Pack process work?

The pick and pack process is a vital step in the order fulfilment process.

Every day our team print out order sheets within minutes of your customer ordering online. Each order sheet contains the following information:

  • Account name – Your business and your customer shipping address
  • Order details - Each product purchased and quantity
  • Location – The associated floor, isle and bay number for your products
